The visit was carefully organized and coordinated by the Vietnam Logistics Business Association (VLA), demonstrating their key role in ensuring the success of this important event.

On 9 July 2024, FIATA President Turgut Erkeskin was honored to be received by the Prime Minister of Vietnam, Pham Minh Chinh. This meeting was an important occasion, demonstrating the strong support of the Government of Vietnam for the FIATA World Congress 2025 and recognizing the importance of the Congress for the country’s logistics industry. The Prime Minister expressed optimism about the cooperation between FIATA and VLA, emphasizing the strategic importance of the Congress in enhancing Vietnam’s logistics capacity.

FIATA Director General Dr. Stéphane Graber had a fruitful discussion with Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade (MoIT), Mr. Nguyen Hoang Long. The conversation focused on improving Vietnam’s logistics infrastructure and developing human resources—important factors to ensure the success of the FIATA World Congress 2025. The meeting highlighted the collaborative efforts between FIATA, VLA and the Government of Vietnam, all of whom are committed to making the Congress a prominent event for the global logistics community.

Following these high-level meetings, the FIATA delegation was honored as the chief guest at a press conference hosted by Vietnam Television (VTV), the country’s largest broadcast network, on 9 July. The press conference, co-organized by VLA, received positive attention from the media, reflecting the growing expectations for the upcoming Congress.

In addition to these activities, Dr. Graber also met with logistics students from top universities in Vietnam.
