Multimodal Transport Course

Modern transportation must meet increasingly complex requirements arising from both domestic and international freight markets. Today, transportation is no longer simply the physical movement of goods; it also involves integrating different stages of transportation into a seamless transport chain to ensure safety, simplicity, efficiency, and cost optimization.

In this context, multimodal transport provides an effective solution by integrating multiple modes of transportation into a coordinated system that responds to the evolving requirements of the freight transportation market.

Recognizing this growing demand, VLI offers participants the opportunity to strengthen and enhance their knowledge and practical skills in multimodal transportation through the “MULTIMODAL TRANSPORT” course.

Understand the processes, documentation, and legal considerations involved in organizing and managing multimodal transportation.

Plan, organize, manage, and coordinate multimodal transport routes effectively.

4. Course Contents

Module 1: FUNDAMENTALS OF MULTIMODAL TRANSPORT

Overview of the fundamental concepts, principles, characteristics, and operational framework of multimodal transportation.

Module 2: SKILLS FOR DEVELOPING MULTIMODAL TRANSPORT OPERATING MODELS

Developing practical skills to design and establish appropriate multimodal transportation arrangements based on cargo characteristics, transportation requirements, routes, service levels, and cost considerations.

Module 3: MULTIMODAL TRANSPORT OPERATIONS AND THE HANDLING OF SPECIAL CARGO

Developing practical skills in organizing and managing multimodal transportation operations, with a focus on the specific requirements and operational considerations involved in transporting special cargo.
